Six Year Anniversary

Today is our six year anniversary, and I have to say that time flew by so fast. It seems like not that long ago when TJ and I were being married in the Salt Lake Temple. And now we have have two of the cutest little girls ever. TJ and I met through TJ's friend Cody at the gym. Back in the day when we both used to be really fit and have time to work out 2 hours a day. We went on our first date to Thanksgiving Point to a dinner/play that was going on. We dated about 5 1/2 months and were engaged for 2 1/2 months, and now we have been happily married for six years. I am so thankful to have TJ in my life. He means the world to me and his girls. He is such a supportive husband, and is always willing to help me out even after a long day of work. He is such an amazing father, and it just melts my heart when Taylor and Addison both have to snuggle with him. Even though he says he hates to cuddle that much I know deep down he loves it. TJ has always provided for us in every way possible. I am so thankful to be sealed to him for time and all eternity. I love you Teej, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.

Cornbelly's @ Thanksgiving Point

This was lots of fun for the kids. The fam and us got together to take a little adventure to Cornbelly's. Even though it was a little pricey we went anyways. They had lots of things to do for the little kids. Taylor's favorite part was the princess play land where they got to dress up like princesses. They looked so funny, but they thought they looked cute so that is all that matters. It was such a perfect day for fun outside. Addison of course just stayed in her stroller most of the time and slept (as the above picture shows), but I am sure she had fun too.

Fun at Wheeler Farm

Every month my friends and I get together with our kids. Usually we meet up at my friend McKenzie's house, but Kenzie had a great idea to get out and go to Wheeler Farm because the kids love it and even better, it is FREE. The kids loved seeing all the farm animals even though it was freezing out. I personally hate the cold weather, but the kids didn't seem to mind until we got back to the cars and they all realized that they were frozen. We got to see Horses, Cows, Chickens, Pigs, Sheep, Rabbits & Ducks. Oh ya and the GEESE. Wheeler Farm just has a bunch of geese that roam around all over, which normally would be fine but as soon as they saw that we had bread for the ducks they would not leave us alone. Allie & Taylor were a little freaked out, and Caden didn't seem to mind very much. I would have gotten a picture of them, but I was too busy trying to keep them from snapping at my butt. After freezing we all went over to McDonalds to let the kids play in the play place so we can get our girl talk in. Kenzie & Caden had to leave due to a family emergency so it was just the four of us. Allie & Taylor loved it. They were so funny they pulled up two highchairs up to the basketball video game and sat there just laughing at each other. Taylor keeps telling me that Allie is her new best friend and that she just loves her. They play so good together. I hope they can be as good as friends as Sunny and I are when they get older. All in all we had a fun night. Thanks girls for getting together every month to make sure we stay in touch. We love hanging out with all of you.

This is the only picture that we caught all three kids together in.

6 Months

Last week I took Addie in for her six month check up. I was almost sure the doctor was going to ask me what the heck I had been feeding my kid. I could have sworn Addie was going to be at least 20 lbs. To my suprise she was 16 lbs 15 oz and 26 1/2 inches long. So in reality she was only a pound heavier then Taylor was at this age, which I think it might all be in Addie's head. She is off the charts on her head measurement. You know your baby has a big head when the nurse has to measure it three times just to make sure it is right. However, I still don't understand how in the world she can gain any weight. She spits up so much that you would think that she would be losing pounds not gaining. The good news is that she is such a happy baby all the time. Once she got over her colic stage we were good to go. Here are a few of Addie's favorite things.

1- Sweet Potatoes (Which I hate because it always makes her have a massive blow out later, but you can't not give it to her. It would be like taking candy away from me and that is just not right.)

2- Daddy (Addie loves her Dad. She smiles so big for him and just loves to snuggle up on his chest everynight before bed.)

3- Taylor (Addie thinks that Taylor is the funniest thing ever. Taylor can make her laugh more then anyone. The funny thing is when I try to do the same thing to make her laugh, Addie just looks at me like I am crazy.)

4-Blanket (Grandma Carlson made Addie a blanket that has the really soft bumpy things on the back of it. It is kind of hard to explain, but Addie would not be able to go to bed without being wrapped in it.)

5- Sleep (As I have blogged before she loves to sleep. She has started to wake up a little earlier lately, but who am I to complain even 9:00 pm to 9:30 am works for me.)

6- Taylors Dora Chair (Taylor got this chair from her grandma for her birthday, and I think Addie sits in it more then Taylor does. But of course Tay doesn't care because it is her baby sister. Addie just thinks that she is so big in that chair.)
