Time Fly's

Wow! I can't even believe that it has been so long since I posted anything. After TJ got home from his business trip we have just been going and going. I decided to catch you all up on what we have been doing for the last few weeks.

ADDIE'S SIX MONTHS PHOTOS (Actually 7 months)
It was way over due, but I finally got Addie's six month pictures done. She is actually 7 months in the pictures, so I was a little late in getting them done. I wanted to share a few since they turned out so very very cute. I had JoRae with JNC Photography do them again, and even though she put her prices up she is still way worth it. Maybe I just think they are so stinking cute becuase I am the mom, but you can be the judge. I had to take some naked ones of Addison since she is so chunky, and there is nothing cuter than a chunky naked baby. Thank you Sunny for making the cute TUTU for her, and Thank you JoRae for the amazing pic's (AGAIN).

GO UTES!! TJ has season tickets to the utes game every year. I used to go with him, but it got to be too hard to find a babysitter for every game. Here is a picture of the boys at the last utes game. They all get into it so much. We can't wait to see the UTES win the Sugar Bowl. TJ, Tyler & Jake are probably some of the UTES number one fans. Ryan and Terry are swingers between BYU and UTAH, but they are converting over to the UTES side more and more every year.

THANKSGIVING!!
Then it was Thanksgiving. This is not my favorite holiday, but I do enjoy spending time with family. This year we went with TJ's family up to the Cabin in Bear Lake. It is nice to be up there away from the craziness.

Addie. She loved the candied yams.
I don't know if she has ever had anything so yummy. (Thanks Hailee)

Taylor & Hadley.
Even though they still get into little tiffs they are still the best of friends.

GINGERBREAD HOUSES!
Last week Taylor, Addison & I went to girls night with my friends. We decided to make Gingerbread houses. Here is the results from the night. It actually turned out pretty cute.

DANCE RECITAL

Also, last week Taylor had her first dance recital. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen. I seriously cried through her whole performance. I was so proud of her. Taylor came out crying a little at first, but then pulled it together and did the entire dance. All the little girls did so good. At the end of all the dances they all came out to do their bows. Taylor wanted to make sure that we all saw her so she moved her way up to the front of the stage in front of everyone just smiling away for pictures and becuase she could see all the people that came to watch her and Hadley.

They look so cute.

Here is Taylor in front of everyone during the bow. She was cute, but I was more worried that she was going to fall off the stage becuase she wasn't looking were she was going.

Taylor giving us her cute smile. She is actually getting better with the whole camera thing.

Hadley & Taylor after their performance.

All in all we have had a pretty fun & busy couple of weeks. We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving.

TJ is HOME!!!!!!

After three of the longest weeks of my life my hubby is home. My girls haven't left his side since he has been home which he is loving every minute of it. It is amazing how much you can miss someone. I truly missed TJ every day he was gone, and just wanted him to come home. Well he did yesterday morning looking like this:

Thats right! He grew a burly beard. He figured he didn't need to shave for 2 1/2 weeks since he wasn't around anyone who really cared. Plus he wanted to see if it would look good with his shaved head. When Addie saw him she was a little scared, but then warmed up to him throughout the day. He decided he didn't love it, and it started to get itchy so he shaved it last night. I am so lucky to have such an amazing husband, and I am so glad he is home. I love you Teej.

Thanks to everyone who helped me with my kids while Teej was gone. I am so lucky to have such great families that are always willing to give a helping hand.

Disney on Ice

This week I got to take my cute little Tay Tay to Disney on Ice. It was a really fun night out with my close friends Sunny & McKenzie. We left Addie behind to hang out with Grandma Carlson, Hailee & Carter (Thanks again for watching the little peanut). So it was just me and Tay, and I would have to say it was really nice to spend some one on one time with her. It doesn't happen very often. Plus it got both of our minds off of TJ being gone. I have never seen Taylor so excited about anything. The minute she saw Mickey & Minnie Mouse skating around she was screaming and dancing like crazy (thank goodness we knew the people in front of us). I would have to say that I enjoyed every minute of it.

Thanks for the killer deal on tickets Kenz. I am always up for a good deal.

Happy Halloween

Taylor & Hadley getting ready to do the spooky dance.
They are usually a lot happier then what this picture shows.
Taylor & her new pumpkins

We are not the most creative carvers, but Taylor didn't care.

Halloween was lots of fun this year. Taylor is finally to the age where she just loves everything about it. We started off on Monday with dance. Taylor's dance teacher let all the girls come in there costumes to do spooky fun dances. After dance I took Tay & Addie over to the pumpkin patch to choose our pumpkins for this year. We got to carve our pumpkins on Wed, which TJ just loves to do (not). Then it was Halloween and this year Taylor was a Cute/Nice Witch and Addie was a Bumble Bee. Taylor did not want to be a scary witch. My best friend Sunny made their costume tutu's which made their costumes the cutest things ever. (Thanks again Sun!) I got to take the girls to TJ's work to trick or treat, and then we headed over to Amie's house (TJ's sister) for the trick or treat night. It is kind of a tradition for all of TJ's family to meets up there, and then all the kids go trick or treating in her neighborhood. I love to go to her house for Halloween not only to enjoy family, but they always make taco soup and homemade doughnuts (and who seriously doesn't like homemade doughnuts). You always leave their house feeling so awful from all the food you ate, but it is my favorite part. All in all it was a great 2008 Halloween.

Six Year Anniversary

Today is our six year anniversary, and I have to say that time flew by so fast. It seems like not that long ago when TJ and I were being married in the Salt Lake Temple. And now we have have two of the cutest little girls ever. TJ and I met through TJ's friend Cody at the gym. Back in the day when we both used to be really fit and have time to work out 2 hours a day. We went on our first date to Thanksgiving Point to a dinner/play that was going on. We dated about 5 1/2 months and were engaged for 2 1/2 months, and now we have been happily married for six years. I am so thankful to have TJ in my life. He means the world to me and his girls. He is such a supportive husband, and is always willing to help me out even after a long day of work. He is such an amazing father, and it just melts my heart when Taylor and Addison both have to snuggle with him. Even though he says he hates to cuddle that much I know deep down he loves it. TJ has always provided for us in every way possible. I am so thankful to be sealed to him for time and all eternity. I love you Teej, and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.

Cornbelly's @ Thanksgiving Point

This was lots of fun for the kids. The fam and us got together to take a little adventure to Cornbelly's. Even though it was a little pricey we went anyways. They had lots of things to do for the little kids. Taylor's favorite part was the princess play land where they got to dress up like princesses. They looked so funny, but they thought they looked cute so that is all that matters. It was such a perfect day for fun outside. Addison of course just stayed in her stroller most of the time and slept (as the above picture shows), but I am sure she had fun too.

Fun at Wheeler Farm

Every month my friends and I get together with our kids. Usually we meet up at my friend McKenzie's house, but Kenzie had a great idea to get out and go to Wheeler Farm because the kids love it and even better, it is FREE. The kids loved seeing all the farm animals even though it was freezing out. I personally hate the cold weather, but the kids didn't seem to mind until we got back to the cars and they all realized that they were frozen. We got to see Horses, Cows, Chickens, Pigs, Sheep, Rabbits & Ducks. Oh ya and the GEESE. Wheeler Farm just has a bunch of geese that roam around all over, which normally would be fine but as soon as they saw that we had bread for the ducks they would not leave us alone. Allie & Taylor were a little freaked out, and Caden didn't seem to mind very much. I would have gotten a picture of them, but I was too busy trying to keep them from snapping at my butt. After freezing we all went over to McDonalds to let the kids play in the play place so we can get our girl talk in. Kenzie & Caden had to leave due to a family emergency so it was just the four of us. Allie & Taylor loved it. They were so funny they pulled up two highchairs up to the basketball video game and sat there just laughing at each other. Taylor keeps telling me that Allie is her new best friend and that she just loves her. They play so good together. I hope they can be as good as friends as Sunny and I are when they get older. All in all we had a fun night. Thanks girls for getting together every month to make sure we stay in touch. We love hanging out with all of you.

This is the only picture that we caught all three kids together in.

6 Months

Last week I took Addie in for her six month check up. I was almost sure the doctor was going to ask me what the heck I had been feeding my kid. I could have sworn Addie was going to be at least 20 lbs. To my suprise she was 16 lbs 15 oz and 26 1/2 inches long. So in reality she was only a pound heavier then Taylor was at this age, which I think it might all be in Addie's head. She is off the charts on her head measurement. You know your baby has a big head when the nurse has to measure it three times just to make sure it is right. However, I still don't understand how in the world she can gain any weight. She spits up so much that you would think that she would be losing pounds not gaining. The good news is that she is such a happy baby all the time. Once she got over her colic stage we were good to go. Here are a few of Addie's favorite things.

1- Sweet Potatoes (Which I hate because it always makes her have a massive blow out later, but you can't not give it to her. It would be like taking candy away from me and that is just not right.)

2- Daddy (Addie loves her Dad. She smiles so big for him and just loves to snuggle up on his chest everynight before bed.)

3- Taylor (Addie thinks that Taylor is the funniest thing ever. Taylor can make her laugh more then anyone. The funny thing is when I try to do the same thing to make her laugh, Addie just looks at me like I am crazy.)

4-Blanket (Grandma Carlson made Addie a blanket that has the really soft bumpy things on the back of it. It is kind of hard to explain, but Addie would not be able to go to bed without being wrapped in it.)

5- Sleep (As I have blogged before she loves to sleep. She has started to wake up a little earlier lately, but who am I to complain even 9:00 pm to 9:30 am works for me.)

6- Taylors Dora Chair (Taylor got this chair from her grandma for her birthday, and I think Addie sits in it more then Taylor does. But of course Tay doesn't care because it is her baby sister. Addie just thinks that she is so big in that chair.)

Chatty Chatty

As a lot of you might know when ever you try to reach me by phone my cute little Taylor always answers. WHY you ask? Well the reason being is because everytime she hears my cell phone ring she runs as fast as she can to get it before I do. It is so cute, but so naughty all at the same time. If I get it before her it is an automatic scream at the top of her lungs because she wanted to talk, because whoever called wanted to talk her. The funny thing is that she thinks that everyone is calling to talk to her, not me. I love her to death, but sometimes I am sure that people wanted to just make a quick phone call to me and then they get stuck on the phone for at least 20 minutes or more. It cracks me up listening to her talk and the things that she will say. She will tell you anything. By the way if you don't ever ask to talk to me when she is on the phone she will never hand it over. Just an FYI.

This is her favorite phone call to answer of the day.

Cecret Lake!

This last weekend TJ and I decided to hurry and get our weekend chores done and go for a hike up to our favorite spot "Cecret Lake". Taylor was so excited to climb to the highest mountain just like Dora the explorer, and she did all by herself. She thought she was really big being able to climb all the way to the top and all the way down by herself. Addie enjoyed the fresh air so much that she fell asleep in the snugly on the hike back down. TJ introduced me to Cecret Lake when we were dating, and sure enough this is where he proposed to me also. It is a little over a 1/2 mile hike and at the end of the hike there is this little lake sitting at the top of the mountain. It is so relaxing to go up there just to sit on a rock next to the lake and enjoy the outdoors. I am so glad we were able to do this before it got too cold and snowy.

Addie and I enjoying the lake.
Well at least I was. Who knows about Addie. If only babies could talk.
Taylor loved picking the rocks up off the ground and
trying to skip them across the lake just like her daddy.

Happy Birthday Taytor Tot!

Yesterday, September 3rd was Taylor's 3rd birthday. I have been really busy the last couple of days so I haven't been able to give her a shout out for her B-Day yet. We had a little party for her last night, and of course all she wanted to do was open her presents.I can't believe that my little girl is 3 already. It is amazing how fast time goes by. She is such a good kid, and even though she can be a little over helpful sometimes I still feel so lucky to have her in my life. She has the biggest heart ever for a three year old. She loves everyone & everything. It doesn't matter how mean someone is to her she still thinks the world of them. Even though she can make me crazy with trying to take care of Addie all the time, I am so thankful for all of her help. She will take dirty diapers out to the garbage for me, she will get me bibs, clothes, diapers, lotion, etc.. whenever I ask, she will even wash the dishes when I ask, and she actually does a pretty good job. Today I was cleaning the apartments that I do once a week, and she was so helpful & cute. She sat and talked to Addie, and made sure to put her binki in everytime she would get fussy. She sat and rocked her in her carseat and sang her every song you could think of (even her own made up ones). I was amazed that she wasn't being buggy, especially after getting all of her presents the night before, and not really even getting to play with them. I am so thankful for Tay. I really am so lucky to be her mom. We love you Taytor Tot! Happy Birthday!

Taylor's Barbie Cake.
As you can see after I frosted/decorated the dress then part of it started
to squish down because my house was too hot from all the cooking.

Here she is with her new Dora music player
getting ready to blow out her candles.

WOW!
I can't believe she actually smiled for me for once.
I guess Birthdays just make you smile.

Taylor riding her new princess scooter.
She really wanted a bike, but she can't figure out the
pedals just yet, so we decided not to spend $60 for a bike
that she won't even use. Luckily, my brother gave her a bike
that his boys had out grown. I guess she really is spoiled rotten.

You will be Missed!

My brother Milan and his family are moving to Texas this week, and I have to say that I am really sad about it. It will be strange to go to my mom & dad's house on Sunday or our monthly family dinners and not have them there. It is crazy that this is the only brother/sister in both of TJ's and my family to be outside of Utah. I guess we have been very blessed to always have all of our family close by. Milan and Sarah just had their third child, and first girl a couple of weeks ago. Her name is Payton Elizabeth, and she is so cute. I am pretty sure being the youngest, and the only girl she is going to be spoiled by both her parents and her brothers. Milan is 10 years older then me, and the next brother/sister up from me. He is always taking care of me. I have had so many great Accounting jobs because of him, such as: Mrs Fields Corporate, Greenbacks All A Dollar Corporate, SBI and finally I just started a work from home job with the old owner of SBI. Seriously, I don't know what I would do with out him. I am so lucky to have such an amazing big brother. We will miss them so much between Milan taking care of me and talking sports with TJ, Sarah making such cute crafty things and having her to talk about girl stuff, Carson with his craziness, Ethan with his funny personality & cute little miracle baby Payton. We will see you guys soon, but until then we love ya and we will miss you tonz.

What's funny is that they were just fighting right before I took this picture.

Good Actors I guess??

Just too Sweet!

So I received all of my pictures from our photo shoot that we did in July, and I have to say that they are some of the cutest pictures ever. It is probably just me because they are my kids, but I love them. I don't have any idea which ones I am going to even choose to put on my walls. I know that I have already posted about our photo shoot, but I had to share this one just because it is my favorite picture of my two girls together. The minute that I saw this picture it just made me smile because it captures my daily life with the two of them (seriously). It also made me stop and think about how sweet my little Taylor really is. Sometimes I can be really hard on her because she gets really buggy, and all she wants is to be close to or be touching Addie at all times(unless we are with Carter or Lexi). She just has such a big, soft heart. Taylor just loves to bug her sister all day every day which can make Addie either really mad or put a big smile on her face. Sometimes Tay can be such a big helper with Addison, but then other times she just smothers the poor thing to death. I know Tay is going to make an amazing big sister, but I have a feeling that Addison is going to walk all over my soft hearted little girl. I guess time will tell.

Thanks again JoRae! They turned out great!

Amazing Addie

Okay, so I have to blog about my cute but lazy baby Addie. She is the most amazing night sleeper ever. Every night I put her down between 9PM & 10PM and she sleeps through every night without getting up until 11AM or 12PM the next morning. I love it. This allows me to get lots of things done in the morning and spend some one on one time with Taylor. Watch now that I have bragged about her she is going to stop sleeping through the night. I probably just jinked myself but what an amazing baby. She is not the best napper during the day, but I would take her unbelievable nights over day napping any day. She is so cute when she wakes up. She never crys even though it has been about 14 hours since she has eaten. When I go into her room to get her she usually has turned herself sideways and kicked her music player to turn it on. She will just look at me with her puffy/sleepy eyes and smiles. I love my Addie she is so dang cute.
