Christmas Time!!

Christmas time is so fun, but very exhausting. I do love the Holidays though. It always seems that everyone is in a better mood.

Thanksgiving Point

We decided to go see the lights a Thanksgiving Point this year instead of driving up to the SLC temple. Honestly, they were just as good if not better. We let the kids get out and go see Santa's Reindeer after the lights. Taylor thought that was AWESOME!!

Christmas Eve

We always get to go over to Aunt Amie and Uncle Rick's house for an amazing Dinner. They fix the best dinner ever for this special day. Thanks again to Amie and Rick for giving us something yummy to eat the day before Christmas.

Christmas!!!!!

We started the day off with lots of presents, and a yummy breakfast. Then it was off to the Evans for the family get together. After that we moved on over to the Carlson's to get together as well. It was a busy day, but so great to spend with all of the Fam. We missed seeing you Milan, Sarah and Family. We hope some day you will be back to the Christmas family parties.

Our cute little family. Christmas 2010

Addie's favorite toy. I still don't get it.

The girls have over 20 babies, but they always want a new one.

Gotta love Christmas. A kids dream come true!

Taylor's Dance Recital

We decided to put Tay back in dance this year. She LOVES to dance. It is one of her favorite things to do every week. Now that she is in the older class she gets to do two dances at the recital. It was so cute to watch all of those girls dance. The recital is my favorite part.

Tay in her Hip Hop Costume. So cute.

Taylor doing her hip hop dance. She is over on the far right side.

Here she is posing in her jazz costume.

She thought she was hot stuff that is for sure.

Shake that booty Tay!!

Good Job Tay! You are so cute dancing your booty off.

The 2 little Minnie Mouse's

This Halloween I decided to get a little creative/crafty. So I challenged myself to make the girls their Minnie Mouse costumes. They actually turned out better than I had planned. As always we had a day of cookie decorating, and pumpkin painting. Luckly for us the girls got to go Trick or Treating at TJ's work and got full bags of candy, so we only had to go to a few houses in the freezing cold rain. What a YUCKY Halloween.

Cookie Decorating. Addie just ate the frosting. I don't think any frosting actually made it onto her cookies.

The little Minnie Mouse's. Thanks to Jamie for letting us borrow the ears & gloves it completed our costumes.

Every year we go to TJ's sister Amie's house to have a little Halloween party. This was after all the kids got undressed, but I thought it was too cute to leave out of the blog.

Cornbelly's 2010

This October we were able to score some cheap season tickets to Cornbelly's. The kids MORE than enjoyed going there a few times instead of just once. The best part is that it wears them all out really well without any effort except getting there. Here are some pics from the fun.

I looked out the window & what did I see??????

A SQUIRREL!!!

So the craziest thing happened. I was heading to my back sliding door to let our dog Harley outside & saw this!!!

Crazy right!!! I couldn't believe that there was a squirrel just sitting on my back deck a couple feet away from my back door. It was the cutest thing ever. Maybe no else thinks this is that cool, but I thought it was. It made my day.

Fishing Day!!

Fishing Day!! Need I say more. I hate eating fish, but catching fish is actually kind of fun. We all took a little family day trip up in the Uintahs to go fishing. We all caught a TON of fish & enjoyed the outdoors with each other. TJ decided to float tube the majority of the day by himself, so I don't have any pictures of him but he was with us. The kids thought the day out was the best.
Taylor & I with her first fish she caught. She wouldn't hold it, so I got the privilege of doing so for her.

Addie with her first fish. She was so excited about getting her very own fish.

Taylor & Carter enjoying the day out fishing with the Family.

Addie lounging in someone else's chair. What a cute little thief.

Hadley & Taylor loving Kylee. That poor little baby gets mauled to death, but she always deals with it with a BIG smile on her face. So cute!!!

Labor Day Fun!

We always go up to the cabin in Bear Lake for Labor Day. It is our last hoorah for the season before it starts getting cold. This year Grandpa Carlson talked some of us to go up to this lake in Bloomington canyon. We all decided to pack into the cars and take a drive up there to see what it was all about. After a lot of complaining for the length of the drive from all of us we finally got up there and enjoyed every bit of nature. I think we will make a tradition from now on to go up there at least once a year.

Taylor & her Grandpa Carlson hanging out at the beach.

Little Miss Addie. All the older kids dug a hole to have a little pond where we were sitting. They sent Addie to do the hard work & get all the water for it. She didn't mind one bit. What a tough chick.

Addie & Josh enjoying the sand. The kids usually like the sand more than they like the water.

Our little family on our hike to Bloomington Lake.

Addie with her favorite person in the world (PAPEE). This little girl is such a trooper. She hiked by her self almost the entire time. She Rocks!!!

TJ and the kids at the lake. All the kiddos where excited about the long awaited lake.

After we got their we saw a rope swing. The boys decided to try it out. The girls where a little hesitant because we didn't want to drop into the freezing cold water.

Happy Birthday Taylor!!!

I can't believe our little girl is 5. It has gone by so fast. Taylor is so sweet & loving. She is almost always willing to give a helping hand for any of us. We love you so much Tay. You are such an amazing little girl that is full of life & teaches us new & amazing things every day.
WE LOVE YOU!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Taylor excited about her new Leapster she was begging us for.

The famous doll cake. I am sure this is not the last doll cake I will have to make for my girls birthdays. Taylor wanted Princess Belle. This is the closest thing I could come up with.

All the girls from the Birthday Party. Tay was so excited to have all of her friends over this year.

August 2010

August 2010

August seemed like a busy month, but I guess I don't have a whole lot of pictures to show for it.

Dinasuar Museum

It is always nice to do something fun and different with the kids. So we decided to go the the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point on their $1 day. Bad Idea by the way since all the other moms in Utah were thinking the same thing. Even though it was crazy packed with people we still managed to have a little fun.

Me & the Girls getting ready to be eaten by a shark.

It actually took some convincing that this wasn't real.

Taylor & her Best Friend Jayden. What cute girls!!

Cute Kids!! Carter, Taylor, Lexi, Jayden.

I love Carter's & Taylors faces in this pic.

Random Picture of the girls. Even though they can fight A LOT,

they still are the best of friends.

The month of August is both of our birthdays. Happy Birthday to US. This year was TJ's 30th, which I like to point out since he is one year older than me. It is always GREAT :<>
