Discovery Gateway

Last week my girls and I were invited to go down to discovery gateway with our friend Annalee & Avery. It was a blast. I think my girls could have stayed and played there all day long. What a cute fun thing for kids to do. Thanks Annalee for taking us. We had so much fun. Here are some pics from the day.

The girls in the Helicopter. Taylor was scared to death of this at first. She jumped in it and it started making really loud noises like a real helicopter. I told her bye and to have a good flight and she LOST it. I didn't realize how bad that would scare her, but it was the funniest thing ever.

MY NIGHTMARE!!

After the fun day at Discovery Gateway Annalee and I decided to stop at the fabric store to get a few things. That is where my nightmare happened. Taylor and Avery were in one cart and Addie was in the other cart in the bottom of the cart because she thinks she is too big to sit up front (FIRST BIG MISTAKE). Well it happened Addie was sitting down and the next thing I know she was on the floor. She had either tried to climb out or tried to reach for something which made her fall out of the cart right on her head against the cement floor. I have never been so scared. My day went from being a good mom to feeling like the most horrible mom ever. Thank goodness my friend Annalee was with me or else I might have lost it. Addie stopped crying after a minute and then starting running around the store and playing like nothing. I still was a little nervous so I decided to call her doctor and he said that we needed to keep a good eye on her since that is one of the scariest things to happen (That made me feel even worse). At the end of the day she was just fine. She had a small bruised bump on her forehead and that was it. I am so thankful that nothing else happened to her. She is such a joy to us in our life. She has the cutest personality and can lighten up your day in a second. I am a little embarrassed to share this, but I decided that maybe it might help someone else. If you think that it couldn't happen to you, you might just be wrong. I was!!

BABY KYLEE!!

On a better note TJ's sister Hailee had her cute little baby girl on February 18th. She is the cutest thing ever. She is such a good baby and I could just hold her all day long. Taylor loves her to death. All she does is talk about her new cute little cousin. So on that note we couldn't be happier to welcome baby Kylee to the world and to our family. She is adorable.

Sleding at the Cabin!!

This past weekend TJ and I decided to go up to the cabin and go sledding with TJ's old missionary companion & his family. We all had a blast. The kids loved sledding all the way down the big hills. It is so nice because we can go sledding right out side the cabin on the road which makes it a lot easier to have the cabin right there if we need it. Our family loves going up to the family cabin in the winter time because it is so relaxing. Here are some pic's from our adventure.

Christmas 2009

As always it has been a while. We had a great Thanksgiving & Christmas even though we were sick for both holidays. Addie had Bronchitis AGAIN over Thanksgiving but we went up to the family cabin anyway and left the cabin with Taylor sick also. Addie also woke up Christmas morning in throw up, and since then sickness has just gone through our whole family. I am the only one that has not come down with anything yet. (lets keep our fingers crossed). I think we have had our fair share of sickness this past year and hopefully we will be blessed with not as much this coming year. Even though we have been really sick it has been nice to stay home and enjoy our little family. Sometimes life just needs to stop us from our craziness and make us realize how lucky we are and to enjoy everything that we have. I am so thankful for my family for all of their love and support. It was nice to have a low key Christmas, but it just makes it that much harder to get back to reality. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas as well. Here are some pictures from December.

Every year my mom has a little Christmas party for just our family. She has Santa come and bring the kids a little something fun before Christmas. Both of my girls LOVED Santa this year. I think Addie might have enjoyed him more. She kept wanted to sit on his lap, kind of crazy since she is at the terrified of Santa age. My mom made cute little bags for all the kids that had their picture on it and pictures of things they enjoyed, along with fun things inside of the bag. Taylor has not let the bag leave her side.

Next it was off to see the lights at Temple Square. My family got to go up there right after Thanksgiving when my brother Milan was in town. But of course my girls were sick so we didn't go. We still got the chance to go this December. It was a quick trip since my girls don't enjoy the cold that much. (Just like their mom)

Taylor & her cousin Hadley. They are the best of friends. They still have their fights here and there, but they are much better about playing and sharing. Tay just loves to play with her cute cousin Hadley.

Every Christmas Eve I let my kids open their Christmas Jammies that they can wear for Christmas. It has been a tradition that we love. Well maybe I am the only one that loves it, but that's okay.

CHRISTMAS MORNING!!

After getting Addie bathed from her throw up in bed experience we FINALLY got to go open presents. Taylor was so patient about waiting for Addie to get cleaned up. She is such a good loving sister. Here are the girls with their Christmas gifts.

My Sister Sharri gave all of us Marshmallow spit things. The kids went crazy over them. I am sure my parents went a little crazy over them also. Addie just liked eating the marshmallows.

October 2009

October is always a busy month for us. It seems like the month just flys by and we are all of a sudden getting ready for Thanksgiving & Christmas. Here are a few pics from the month.
