Chatty Chatty

As a lot of you might know when ever you try to reach me by phone my cute little Taylor always answers. WHY you ask? Well the reason being is because everytime she hears my cell phone ring she runs as fast as she can to get it before I do. It is so cute, but so naughty all at the same time. If I get it before her it is an automatic scream at the top of her lungs because she wanted to talk, because whoever called wanted to talk her. The funny thing is that she thinks that everyone is calling to talk to her, not me. I love her to death, but sometimes I am sure that people wanted to just make a quick phone call to me and then they get stuck on the phone for at least 20 minutes or more. It cracks me up listening to her talk and the things that she will say. She will tell you anything. By the way if you don't ever ask to talk to me when she is on the phone she will never hand it over. Just an FYI.

This is her favorite phone call to answer of the day.

Cecret Lake!

This last weekend TJ and I decided to hurry and get our weekend chores done and go for a hike up to our favorite spot "Cecret Lake". Taylor was so excited to climb to the highest mountain just like Dora the explorer, and she did all by herself. She thought she was really big being able to climb all the way to the top and all the way down by herself. Addie enjoyed the fresh air so much that she fell asleep in the snugly on the hike back down. TJ introduced me to Cecret Lake when we were dating, and sure enough this is where he proposed to me also. It is a little over a 1/2 mile hike and at the end of the hike there is this little lake sitting at the top of the mountain. It is so relaxing to go up there just to sit on a rock next to the lake and enjoy the outdoors. I am so glad we were able to do this before it got too cold and snowy.

Addie and I enjoying the lake.
Well at least I was. Who knows about Addie. If only babies could talk.
Taylor loved picking the rocks up off the ground and
trying to skip them across the lake just like her daddy.

Happy Birthday Taytor Tot!

Yesterday, September 3rd was Taylor's 3rd birthday. I have been really busy the last couple of days so I haven't been able to give her a shout out for her B-Day yet. We had a little party for her last night, and of course all she wanted to do was open her presents.I can't believe that my little girl is 3 already. It is amazing how fast time goes by. She is such a good kid, and even though she can be a little over helpful sometimes I still feel so lucky to have her in my life. She has the biggest heart ever for a three year old. She loves everyone & everything. It doesn't matter how mean someone is to her she still thinks the world of them. Even though she can make me crazy with trying to take care of Addie all the time, I am so thankful for all of her help. She will take dirty diapers out to the garbage for me, she will get me bibs, clothes, diapers, lotion, etc.. whenever I ask, she will even wash the dishes when I ask, and she actually does a pretty good job. Today I was cleaning the apartments that I do once a week, and she was so helpful & cute. She sat and talked to Addie, and made sure to put her binki in everytime she would get fussy. She sat and rocked her in her carseat and sang her every song you could think of (even her own made up ones). I was amazed that she wasn't being buggy, especially after getting all of her presents the night before, and not really even getting to play with them. I am so thankful for Tay. I really am so lucky to be her mom. We love you Taytor Tot! Happy Birthday!

Taylor's Barbie Cake.
As you can see after I frosted/decorated the dress then part of it started
to squish down because my house was too hot from all the cooking.

Here she is with her new Dora music player
getting ready to blow out her candles.

WOW!
I can't believe she actually smiled for me for once.
I guess Birthdays just make you smile.

Taylor riding her new princess scooter.
She really wanted a bike, but she can't figure out the
pedals just yet, so we decided not to spend $60 for a bike
that she won't even use. Luckily, my brother gave her a bike
that his boys had out grown. I guess she really is spoiled rotten.
